REN21 Renewables 2021 Global Status Report
Instructions for using the Online Review tool on REN21+

REN21+ is an interactive platform for the REN21 Community to access community work groups and review documents from REN21 and its partners.

Accessing REN21+

STEP 1:  Follow the link to REN21+ http://ren21plus.ren21.net/

STEP 2:  Access REN21+  by

• Creating a new user account or
• Logging in using your login information

• If you have forgotten your password, click request a new password and type in your email. Make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive an email with password recovery instructions.
• In case you have trouble logging in, please try clearing cookies from your browser. Google Chrome is recommended for best user experience. If you are still unable to log in, please send an email to gsr@ren21.net and we will help you access the platform.

Accessing the GSR Contributors & Reviewers Group

STEP 3: Access “GSR Contributors & Reviewers” under Groups.

Accessing the Renewables 2021 Global Status Report Draft

STEP 4: In the GSR Contributors & Reviewers Group, access the individual Review Draft. The draft will open in a new window.

On the same page, below the report draft, you will also find links to four sets of Policy Reference Tables, separated by sectoral coverage. Click on the links to access the Policy Reference Tables.

Online Use of Review Tool

STEP 5: Choose how others’ comments showed in the documents using 3 options on the top tool bar:

• To show comments on the text, click
• To show comments on the right-hand margin, click
• To show comments as footnotes; click  

STEP 6:  You can add a review by:

1. Using your mouse to select a word/paragraph on which you want to comment.
2. Typing your comment/feedback in the comment box. You can also choose to underline, insert or edit by clicking   on the top left corner of the box.
3. Clicking “Save”.

You can edit/delete your comment by clicking on the comment box, then  next to “Reply”.

To reply to other reviewers’ comments, click on their comment boxes, then “Reply”.

To exit, click on the top right corner of the page or simply close the window.
