Is there a cost to join?
There is a one-time, non-refundable $25 Membership Fee. There is no annual fee to continue your membership. You will also receive a $25 Welcome Reward for joining when you register your card.
How do I register my card?
To register your card, visit www.texmexinsider.com. You will be prompted to provide your Insider card number. If you are unable to access the online registration, please contact customer service at 1.866.GRINGOS (1.866.474.6467) or email email@example.com.
If I purchased my card online, when will I receive it?
If you purchase your card online, you will receive your card in the mail in approximately 10 business days. If you sign up at one of our restaurants, you will receive your card immediately.
Can I add a member of my household to my account?
Our program is intended for individual use - only one membership card will be issued per email address.

Can I earn points on alcohol purchases?
The issuance of points on liquor, beer & wine are based on State restrictions. The State of Texas does allow points to be issued on alcohol, but rewards cannot be redeemed on alcohol.
Can I earn points when I book a private dining room or catering?
Yes, you are eligible to earn points for private dining events and caterings. However, only a maximum of 3,000 points may be earned in a single day. Private dining deposits are not eligible for point earnings. The card MUST be purchased prior to the event. Cards purchased after the event are not eligible for points.
What won’t earn points?
Points cannot be earned on the $25 membership fee, tax, tips, gratuity, discounts, complimentary offers, reward redemptions under the program or redeemed gift cards. If you have questions regarding the points earned on a transaction, please contact customer service.
If I purchased my membership online and have not received my card, can I still earn points?
No, you cannot earn points prior to receiving your card in the mail. If you intend on dining at a location before receiving your card, please consider purchasing the card in store. This enables you to register and use your card to start earning points immediately.
If another diner pays the check, can I still receive points on my account?
Points can only be credited to the person who pays for the dining check. If you choose to split the bill with another person, we credit your account for the portion that you pay.
Can I still earn points if I forgot to bring my card?
Of course! You can give your server your phone number associated to your account. They can then look it up and apply your membership to your check. You may also use our check-in feature on our app to receive an exclusive 4-digit code for your server to enter. No points will be awarded for any guest receipt or other proof of purchase presented AFTER the time of visit.
Can I transfer or merge points to another account?
The membership and points are non-transferable.

How do I receive my rewards?
After your account balance has reached 100 points, you will receive a $5 reward. Your reward will automatically be applied to your account. Rewards are only issued in $5 increments.
How do I redeem rewards?
To redeem your rewards, simply present your card when you pay your bill. If you forget your card, you can still redeem a reward if you provide your server with the phone number associated with your account or by using our check-in feature on our app.
How long are my rewards valid?
Rewards are valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. Reward will not be reinstated or extended.
What is the max number of rewards that can be redeemed in a day?
You are able to redeem up to $250 in rewards in a day or 50 - $5 rewards.
Do I need to login to my account receive my rewards?
No, your reward(s) will be automatically applied to your account once you’ve reached 100 points. On your next visit, you can decide to use the reward(s) or defer them. Since there is no carry-over balance, any unused portion of the reward amount will be forfeited.
How do I receive my $25 Welcome Reward?
Once you’ve completed your account registration (www.texmexinsider.com), your $25 Welcome Reward will be automatically applied to your account.
How do I receive my $15 Birthday Reward?
Your $15 Birthday Reward will be automatically added to your account on the first day of your birth month and will expire on the last day of the month at the end of business day (11:59 pm).
If you register your account during your birth month, your $15 Birthday Reward will be added to your account on the first of the following month and again will expire on the last day of the month at the end of business day (11:59 pm).
What does it mean to defer a reward?
By deferring a reward, you are choosing to not use your reward on that visit. Please note, if you choose to not use your reward, this does not change the expiration date.

Can I manage my account online?
Yes! Login in to your account by visiting www.texmexinsider.com to view your account balance, edit account information, and view your transaction history. You can also view your account information via our Tex-Mex Insider app.
What do I need to login to my account?
To register your account, you will need your card number and valid email address and password of your choice. After registering, you will be prompted to enter your email address and password each time you want to review your account.
How do I edit the information on my account?
You will need to login using your email and password. Then, click “Edit Account.”
I’ve lost my password, how can I login to my account?
If you cannot recall your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. An email will be sent to the email address registered to your account that will allow you to update your password.
I lost my username, how can I login to my account?

Tex-Mex Insiders Loyalty Program memberships are open to all individuals 16 years of age or older legally residing in the United States and countries that legally permit participation. The program is intended for individual use only. One membership card will be issued per account & email address, and each individual is only allowed one membership.
Members shall be bound by all the terms and conditions contained herein and by all applicable laws. All discrepancies in program terms and/or conditions shall be determined at the sole discretion of Ybarra Franchising Group, LLC. (dba "Jimmy Changas" & “Gringo’s”). Federal and state tax liabilities, if any, shall be the sole responsibility of the club member.
Members earn one point for every dollar spent on food, beverage, retail items and gift cards purchased. Promotional point offers, including double or bonus points, may be subject to restrictions and blackout dates at our discretion. Points are not earned when a gift card is redeemed.
No more than 3,000 points may be earned by a member in a single day. Members may not split checks on large parties or banquets in order to acquire points beyond the daily maximum. No points will be awarded for deposits on private dining room bookings or service fees. Points cannot be earned in conjunction with discounts, promotions, dollar-off or limited-time promotions. Points will only be issued to the member who pays the bill. Cards purchased after the event is booked are not eligible to earn points.
Rewards may be used for food and beverage purchases. Rewards may also be used on retail purchases. Rewards may not be used to purchase gift cards. Rewards may not be used for tax, tip, gratuity or alcohol purchases. Rewards are issued, and must be used, in $5 increments. In addition, there is no carry-over balance for any used rewards; therefore, if member's purchase is for less than the reward amount, the remaining unused reward amount will be forfeited.
Earned Rewards: For every 100 points earned, a $5 reward will be available to the member. Any points earned over the reward amount will remain in the account and continue to accumulate until the next $5 reward is earned. Once the member's account balance reaches 100 points or more, the member will receive an email informing him or her of the $5 reward. The reward will automatically be added to member's card and can be applied at member's next visit, unless the member elects to defer. The reward may be used in $5 increments, but only up to $250 in one day. However, since there is no carry-over balance, any unused reward amount will be forfeited. The earned rewards will expire 12 months from the date of issuance.
Members will earn a $15 reward on the first of their birthday month. Birthday rewards will automatically be applied on your first visit to the restaurant during your birthday month. Birthday rewards expire on the last day of your birth month at the end of the business day (11:59). If a member joins and registers during their birthday month, the birthday reward will automatically be added to the account on the first of the following month. This again will expire on the last day of the following month at the end of business day (11:59).
Points do not expire. Earned rewards are valid for 12 months from the date issued. Birthday rewards expire on the last day of your birthday month. Expired points and rewards will not be extended or reinstated.
A non-refundable one time membership fee is required to join. Members will begin earning points with their first purchase. Membership fee is $25 and can be purchased at any one location or online. Points are not earned for the $25 membership fee.
If a membership is purchased, the member MUST go online or on the app after the purchase to register the card and to provide the member's name and contact information. Upon activation, the member will receive a $25 Welcome Reward, which is available for redemption 24 hours after activation if purchased in store. If a membership card is lost or stolen prior to activation, the member should immediately call and submit the proof of purchase. A replacement card will be issued immediately.
For memberships purchased online, members will receive their card in the mail within 10 business days. If a member wishes to earn points before the 10 day period, the membership card should be purchased at the restaurant to register the card immediately. The Welcome Reward cannot be deferred and will automatically be applied on member's next visit.
Membership card does not need to be present to earn points or redeem rewards. In lieu of the membership card, members may provide the phone number identified on their account registration to earn points at the time of purchase. If rewards are being redeemed, member will also be required to show valid ID. Only the member to whom the membership card is issued may earn points or redeem rewards. The member must be paying for the food and beverage to earn points. Membership cards are issued to individuals only, not businesses or other entities or groups. Points are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
Points can only be earned at the time of purchase. Point updates for a restaurant transaction are computer generated. No points will be awarded for any guest receipt or other proof of purchase presented after the time of visit.
Members must provide a valid email address and other information to register their account. The information provided during registration will not be sold or given to third parties (except for use for administration). By registering as a member, member accepts these program rules as they may be modified from time to time and published at www.jimmychangas.com and www.gringostexmex.com. Each time member participates in the program in any manner (earning points, redeeming rewards, accessing the website, etc.) member agrees to the current published rules. In addition, by registering as a member, member consents to receiving periodic emails and account balance information. Members may unsubscribe to these email notices, but we will not be able to inform such members about benefits, send reminders about member's points & rewards or provide other important information. Member is responsible for making any needed account information updates (email address, personal information, etc.). The birthdate that you provide at time of registration cannot be changed. Exclusive offers, promotions and program updates will be emailed to members, and we are not responsible for lost, delayed or undeliverable email.
Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas are not liable for points or rewards lost due to fraudulent or unauthorized use, whether resulting from a lost card or otherwise. Illegal, fraudulent or other unauthorized use of the card, or other activity inconsistent with these terms and conditions, will result in termination of membership and/or forfeiture of earned points and/or rewards. Multiple accounts by the same person are prohibited and will be terminated. Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas reserve the right to audit membership accounts at any time.
In the event of a lost or stolen card, upon notification, we will send the member a replacement membership card. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we are not responsible for lost points or rewards associated with lost or stolen membership cards. Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas also reserve the right to charge $5.00 for replacement of membership cards.
Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas reserves the rights, in its sole discretion, to modify the program terms, conditions and rewards without notice, or to terminate the program at any time upon 30 days notice. Gringo’s and Jimmy Changas reserves the rights to change membership fees or membership requirements and benefits at any time. In the event the program is discontinued, any rewards earned prior to the member receiving notice shall be redeemable for a period of 30 days after issuance of notice of discontinuation of the program.
Employees of Jimmy Changas, Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen and their spouses are ineligible for membership.

When you receive your card, you will be instructed to visit our website or app to register your account. You cannot redeem rewards until you have registered online. You will earn one point per dollar spent on food, beverage and gift card purchases at any of our participating restaurants (excluding tax, tip, discounts & redeemed gift cards).
Points and Rewards
Points may only be earned at the time of purchase. Having your card with you makes it easier for us to find your account in a timely manner. If you do not bring your card with you to the restaurant, we will locate your account by entering the telephone number you gave us at the time of registration.
When 100 points are earned, those points are converted into a $5 reward. Points over that amount will not be converted. For example, spending $103 in eligible purchases (103 points) would earn one $5 rewards with three points remaining to be used toward the next $5 reward.
All points are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Birthday rewards on the last day of your birthday month at the end of the business day (11:59).
