  1. The purpose of the competition
  1. Men's Norathlon® enables different types of athletes to compete equally with each other. Strength and speed in the distance equalize and the one who can push himself and show his willpower wins.
  2. Men's Lite Norathlon® is a distance that beginners with little or no previous experience in strength and endurance sports can prepare for in 1.5 - 6 months. In preparation for the Lite Norathlon®, one is motivated to engage in both strength training and endurance training, which promotes well-rounded and strong physical health.
  3. Ladies Norathlon® is a distance where ladies can show their strength, endurance and willpower. To prepare for this distance, you need to devote time to both running and main strength exercises.
  4. Ladies' Lite Norathlon® is a distance where ladies can try out the Norathlon and gain the motivation and courage to train to conquer more challenging runs.
  5. U18 Norathlon®  and 40+ Norathlon®  are distances in which the lengths of the runs and repetitions of strength exercises have been reduced in order to give the opportunity to try the competition to a wider range of people and to motivate young and experienced athletes to engage in strength and endurance sports as well.
  6. Pro Team Norathlon® - The teams of sports clubs and athletes find out not only the strongest, fastest and most durable, but also demonstrate teamwork, strategy and support to become the most powerful team in Latvia.
  7. All distances are designed with the idea that preparing for them gives a person the opportunity and motivation to create healthy habits in their everyday life. The emphasis is not only on competing with each other, but above all on competing with yourself - have you put in enough work and can you run your first Norathlon? Can you improve your previous time?
