  1. Senate vacancies
  1. Needs Taite and Grace to help with vacancies and onboarding
  2. David stolworthy has a class conflict with the joint meeting trying to find a way to keep him as a senator
  3. Working on class conflicts with faculty senate and COAS dean search may need a fill in for some meetings and will keep us apprised

  1. Hired three new funding board officers

  1. ASBSU welcomes its first student lobbyist on 1/10/22
  2. On January 11th, 2022, the First Regular Session of the Sixty-sixth Idaho Legislature convenes.
  3. Day at the Capitol Planning has begun. Will be crafting a bill to provide funding for the event in the following weeks.
  1. Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence
  1. IESC is hiring right now Kallee Wiesel is leaving IESC and will be filling two vacant positions instead of one
  2. Trying to fill positions by next week
  3. Kallee needs to send a formal resignation to Jenn

  1. Dining services evaluated proposals and hosted interviews over break. Letter of Intent will be sent out to the selected proposer this week.
  1. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the regular Monday Food Pantry delivery.

  2. Search committees are going well– The VP of Student Affairs listening session hold on your calendars will be updated as soon as we get word back from the search firm
  3. Dead week policy was stalled over break but I hope to get the conversation restarted soon

  1. Kenny shared the code change for review and discussion before voting
  1. Charlie asks if there were questions about significant value
  1. Taite lets him know that the elections manager and their committee will decide the significant value and it has not been set yet this year
  1. Eric wants to know who would be on the election committee if for example a delegate is running
  1. Taite lets him know that they would then delegate a different person.
