Dota Auto Chess Update Aug, 25th
At the other side of the great sea, the yearly Holy War is coming near. All heros are on the battleground and all couriers are polishing their weapons to help heros take their challenges. New kinds of weapons are joining the armory this year and couriers are so excited to show them up!
GameRules Update
● A new Panel of Match History, you can see a brief summary of yourself.
● Beginner Protection: -75% MMR deduction for every game lost in Pawns, -50% MMR deduction for every game lost in Knights, to help beginners easier to get higher ranks.
Item Update
● New Item: Hell of Iron Will (T2, Stout Shield + Morbid Mask)
+15 physical damage block, 10% leech.
● New Item: Witless Shako (T2, Hell of Iron Will + Cloak)
+15 physical damage block, 10% leech, +30% magic resistance.
+1 Level for its owner.
● New Item: Hell of the Dominator (T3, Hell of Iron Will + Crown)
+100% mana regeneration, +15 physical damage block, 10% leech.
Active Ability: Instant
Mind Controls a limited-life(illusions/minions/evolved pieces…) enemy whose level equals to or less than 2 for 10s.
CD: 20s
The powerful headpiece of a dead necromancer
● New Item: Skull Basher (T3, Platemail + Mithril Hammer)
+15% damage, +10 armor.
Grants melee hero 25% chance on hit to stun the target for 3s. Bash chance for ranged heroes is 10%.
A feared weapon in the right hands, this maul’s ability to shatter the defenses of its opponents should not be underestimated.
● New Item: Hell of the Overlord (T4, Hell of the Dominator + Platemail)
+100% mana regeneration, +15 physical damage block, 10% leech, +10 armor.
Active Ability: Instant
Mind Controls a limited-life(illusions/minions/evolved pieces…) enemy whose level equals to or less than its owner’s level for 10s.
CD: 10s

● New Item: Abyssal Blade (T5, Skull Basher + Vanguard)
+15% damage, +10 armor, +250 HP, +20 HP regeneration.
50% chance to block 100 physical damage on melee pieces, and 40 on ranged.
Grants melee hero 25% chance on hit to stun the target for 3s, and 10% chance for ranged heroes.
Active Ability: Instant
Stun a nearby enemy piece for 5s, and deal 100 pure damage.
CD: 10s
The lost blade of the Commander of the Abyss, this edge cuts into the enemy’s soul.
● Recipe Update：Vanguard (T3, Vitality Booster + Ring of Health)

● Linken's Sphere: CD 7s instead of 5s.
● Mango Tree: Additional Drop
Drops a Mango whenever your home battle result differs from last round.
The Tree wilts after 9 drops and leaves a Golden Enchanted Mango.
● Golden Enchanted Mango:
Courier consumable: Activate when taking fatal damage
Consumes 1 charge of Golden Enchanted Mango and protects your Courier from fatal damage for this round.
Chess Piece Update
● Pangolier ($4, Beast/Assassin): removed from Chess Pool temporarily, and added into Spare Pool
● Vengeful Spirit - Swap: Ability changed into battlecry.
Battle Cry Ability: Activates before the battle starts
Instantaneously swaps positions with an enemy piece of the same Rank as Vengeful Spirit. The target is then unable to restore mana, while nearby allies will focus on attacking the victim.
Swap doesn’t work on enemies whose rank is higher than VS. If no identical rank enemies, a lower rank enemy will be chosen for swap.

● Anti Mage - Mana Break: Coefficient for damage transformed from mana burnt 100%/150%/250% instead of 100%

● Phantom Assassin: Attack damage 85 instead of 80
● Slardar: Magical Resistance 10 instead of 0
● Undying: HP 900 instead of 850
● Undying - Decay: Max HP stealth 6%/9%/15% instead of 6%/8%/12%
Synergy Update
● Ogre - Iron Fist:
(2) Ogres: Each ogre can eat up allies nearby (A cross of 4 grids) whose level(instead of rank) is lower than itself and gains their HP and Damage.
● Priest - Salvation:
(4) Priests: Mind Control Duration 10s instead of 12s
End of Season Reward Preview
● The EoS rewards for S20 Corsac (01/07 to 31/08) is based on the following:
♕Top 20 Queens (on Leaderboard): S20 Badge + ♕Queen rewards.
♕Queen: 320 Candies + Crown (valid for S21) + Corsac♦Red (Legendary Courier).
♔King: 320 Candies + Corsac♦Orange (Epic Courier).
♖Rook: 160 Candies + Corsac♦Yellow (Rare Courier).
♗Bishop: 80 Candies + Corsac♦Gray (Common Courier).
♘Knight: 40 Candies.
♙Pawn: 20 Candies.
● Top 20 Queens are rewarded based on their final places and the other ranks are rewarded for the highest rank achieved in the season.
● As usual, the last day of the season will be the off season break to award the excellent players. Games played on the day do not affect Rankings. New season S21 BattleField starts from 01/09!
