- Give evidence for the automatic thought
- Challenge the automatic thoughts by giving evidence against them
- Write down alternative thoughts for your beliefs. Make them balanced
- Rewrite your beliefs based on the alternate thoughts
- Write how these revised beliefs influence your emotions
- How do these revised beliefs influence your behavior?
