Recital Ticket Procedures, Restrictions, and Recommendations

  1. We require families to keep their initial ticket orders to a maximum of 8 per show. Even if multiple children from the same family perform, the limit remains 8 tickets per family per show.
  1. Blended families and those with separate living situations are initially allowed a maximum of 8 tickets per show.
  2. We will review ticket orders weekly to ensure fairness for all. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines, which will allow everyone the same opportunity.
  1. Check your dancer’s stage placement (PreBallet and Levels 1 and 2) for the best seating options.
  1. If your dancer is on Stage Right, sit in the audience left and vice-versa
  2. Older dancers will move through varying staging/setups, so speak with your dancer about the best viewpoint for you.
  1. If you have handicapped or otherwise restricted seating needs, please select ADA seats and agree to the policies on the site.  You can also call the box office if you have ADA seating questions.
  1. Please leave ADA seats for people who genuinely need them!
  1. After an opening sales period determined by DC and the JLC, we will sell all remaining seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats are not guaranteed after this period.
  1. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THE TICKET LINK WITH NON-STUDIO FAMILIES UNTIL THE INITIAL SALES PERIOD IS OVER. This may prevent other parents from seeing their children in the show.
  1. We will need backstage volunteers. Signing up here is a good way to save money and seats, especially if your dancer is in multiple shows.
  1. Volunteers will be able to watch their children perform from the wings.
  1. If your dancer is in all four shows, please refrain from purchasing tickets for all four shows until after the initial sales period. This will allow everyone space and time to get what they need. We hope the plan to expand to 4 shows will prevent selling out too early.
  2. Children who will sit on a lap do not need a ticket.
  3. Dancers remain backstage for the entire show, so families stay in the theater for the whole show (2.5 hours, including a 15-minute intermission). Consider this when choosing who will attend.
  4. Please read our recital handbook before purchasing tickets to familiarize yourself with the schedules and processes.
