Hello Smitha Families!

We are pleased that you are making W.O. Smitha Middle School is your home! Smitha PTSA is a branch of a larger organization that advocates on behalf of parents, teachers and students to guarantee inclusion, diversity and the rights of parents. We take pride in being involved in our children’s education, teacher’s rights to educate by all means, by way of educational tools and techniques that will guarantee student success and last but never least student rights of having these necessary keys to unlock their futures, giving us: P.T.S.A. (Parent Teacher Student Association).

Smitha Middle School is a higher level of parent, teacher and student accountability, which leads to success for all that believe in a united front to make our school the best; i.e. fun, family friendly and educationally sound. The only way to manifest the desire of this united agenda is involvement from where student success actually begins, which is with you, the parents.

Smitha PTSA is ready to assist parents with support of being involved. Our Board of Directors and Chair Committees are a vital link to our success story. These important positions allow us to better our school by supplying grants to our teachers and clubs to support their academic agendas and ideas of reaching each individual student’s needs and support of academic success with rewards and educational tools to our students. When we all work together obstacles become obsolete and academic and moral success rises.

We’re super excited and hope you and your family will join the effort our current members, volunteers, board members, our principal, Mr. Salter, school faculty and staff are putting forth for this school year! Here’s to our combined efforts as we work together for the success of our children.

Nos complace que estés haciendo W.O. Smitha Middle School tu hogar! Smitha PTSA es una sucursal de una organización más grande que aboga por los padres, maestros y estudiantes para garantizar la inclusión, la diversidad y los derechos de los padres. Nos enorgullece estar involucrados en la educación de nuestros hijos, los derechos de los maestros a educar por todos los medios, a través de herramientas y técnicas educativas que garantizarán el éxito de los estudiantes y, por último, pero no menos importante, los derechos de los estudiantes de tener estas claves necesarias para desbloquear su futuro, dándonos: PTSA (Asociación de padres, maestros y estudiantes).

La Escuela Intermedia Smitha es un nivel más alto de responsabilidad de padres, maestros y estudiantes, lo que lleva al éxito a todos los que creen en un frente unido para hacer que nuestra escuela sea la mejor; es decir, divertido, familiar y educacionalmente sólido. La única forma de manifestar el deseo de esta agenda unida es involucrarse desde donde realmente comienza el éxito estudiantil, que es con ustedes, los padres.

Smitha PTSA está lista para ayudar a los padres con el apoyo de participar. Nuestra Junta de Directores y Comités de Presidentes son un enlace vital para nuestra historia de éxito. Estas posiciones importantes nos permiten mejorar nuestra escuela al proporcionar subvenciones a nuestros maestros y clubes para apoyar sus agendas académicas e ideas de alcanzar las necesidades individuales de cada estudiante y apoyar el éxito académico con recompensas y herramientas educativas para nuestros estudiantes. Cuando todos trabajamos juntos, los obstáculos se vuelven obsoletos y aumenta el éxito académico y moral.

¡Estamos súper emocionados y esperamos que usted y su familia se unan al esfuerzo que nuestros miembros actuales, voluntarios, miembros de la junta, nuestro director, el Sr. Salter, la facultad y el personal de la escuela están presentando para este año escolar!
