For 25 years, the National Association for State Relay Administration (NASRA) has been an advocate for Telecommunication Relay Services (TRS), promoting accessibility and quality telecommunication services to residents with hearing and speech loss. TRS is a vital service that allows an often disenfranchised population to experience independence through the use of technology. While the landscape of Relay has drastically changed throughout the past 25 years, it remains that NASRA has been involved every step of the way, lending expert advice and support to ensure that those with hearing and speech loss have the freedom to communicate effectively through telecommunication services.
NASRA is currently in the early stages of planning the September 2019 annual conference in the lovely state of Arizona. The conference will be held on Thursday, September 12th through Friday, September 13th, at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. Members and stakeholders will gather not only to discuss the current trends in telecommunication relay services, but also to peer into the future of what these services will look like with the ever-expanding use of technology. Topics may include Automatic Speech Recognition, State administration of IPCTS, new approaches to” off the shelf” relay products, and updates from the Federal Communications Commission.
Our success in providing an exemplary conference program is dependent upon sponsors. This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary and invite you to become one of our 2019 Corporate Sponsors at “Swinging for the Fences.” As a sponsor, we invite you to join the conference not only to learn alongside of us as we explore the future of Relay, but also to network with government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors involved in the field. We have included a sponsorship fact sheet with a variety of sponsorship proposals for your review. We look forward to your support and the opportunity to learn more about the services that you provide. Should you have any questions regarding sponsorship or the conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to Nathan Gomme, Vice Chair- 505-796-5441(VP) or nathan,email@example.com.
