- Setting up application process for a student lobbyist for the upcoming legislative session
- Student Lobbyist will be a paid position starting next semester

- Code Change 01 was posted to the website and is now officially in use
- Switched the attendance system- attendance will now be automatically collected

- Heard 3 grants last Friday and will hear 3 grants this Friday

- Met with the Provost about academic advising
- Sustainability Committee met with a couple of guests this last week
- Vice President
- The Campus Food Pantry and volunteers served 1,500 household members at the Mobile Food Pantry last week
- The next Mobile Food Pantry will be in March
- If interested at all, please plan on volunteering to help
- The Food Pantry will be launching a $3,000 Ponyup fundraising campaign to buy fresh fruits and vegetables for the upcoming winter months
- Anybody who donates $30+ will get a BSU dog calendar

- New Business
- Strategic Plan Update from Dr. Finstuen and Dr. Hansen
- Dr. Finstuen and Dr. Hansen gave a presentation on the Strategic Plan Update
- They are currently working with the departments and colleges to think about a program prioritization process
- Working on streamlining these processes
- They have the goal of creating a thriving community on campus
- Have a committee that has student representatives in order to meet this goal
- They are currently working on a student success and retention plan
- This program will soon reach out to students for feedback and participation
- Bill #04
- Emily Hester, who works at the Food Pantry (Operations and Sustainability Officer) presents the bill
- David Lund: wanted to clarify that the extra costs listed in the bill will be to cover any additional cost fluctuations not previously accounted for in the budget
- Emily Hester Response: The extra money will cover additional costs, taxes, or bags for the items purchased
