Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator
General Purpose:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the organization’s mass emails and national website. This includes programming, scheduling, and sending mass email communications as well as updating and maintaining the content and functionality of OPA’s national website in support of the national communications strategy.

Relationships to Other Positions:
Appointed by: Communications Director
Accountable to: Communications Director
Support from: Communications Director, Executive Director, VP Communications
Works with: Communications Director, Executive Director, Board of Directors, Communications team, other directors (as necessary), appropriate chapter officers (as necessary)
Term of Service: One-year appointment; reappointment subject to yearly review. Two consecutive term limit applies.
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Lifetime member in good standing with alum status
Knowledge/Abilities/Experience:
- Solid knowledge and experience in:
- Mass email production and best practices (experience with Constant Contact preferred)
- Web design and maintenance, Google Analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and website optimization
- Experience or background with:
- Managing email marketing platforms as well as contact lists and segments
- WordPress, html or other content management systems (CMS)
- Proficient in project management
- Awareness of OPA Brand Standards
Duties and Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining the content and functionality of OPA’s national website(s)
- Maintain monthly report on website engagement, usage and other pertinent data points
- Manage web-based image gallery within CMS
- Build new webpages as requested
- Post new blog articles in a timely manner
- Programming, scheduling, and sending OPA mass emails
- Program, schedule, and send e-newsletters utilizing the sorority’s email marketing service of choice
- Maintain monthly report on email statistics, engagement, and trends
- Maintain email templates for various e-newsletter communications
- Monitor contact lists to improve list quality by reviewing unsubscribes, bounce rates, blocked emails, inactivity, etc.
- Attend monthly Communications Team meetings
