Design/Build for Architects and Designers Syllabus

This one-week course invites current practitioners and experienced students to participate in a hands-on, consensus-based design/build experience. The course covers critical skills in facilitating consensus-based design and fundamental carpentry skills. Experience with sketching, model-building, and simple carpentry is encouraged, but the class will also be structured to develop and improve participant skills in each of those areas.

This class is a great fit for practitioners interested in reconnecting with the process of making and their work or for students looking to understand what it takes to bring an idea from concept to reality through small-scale carpentry projects and collaborative design.
