Payment Policy

This Payment Policy is designed to help you understand cancellation processes and refund procedures for the PRO features of the Services provided by Neocortext Inc. d/b/a Reface (“Reface”, “we”, “us,” and “our”).

At Reface you can either perform a One-Time Payment or purchase a Subscription. Whether you make a One-Time Payment or purchase a Subscription for the PRO features of our Services (each, a “Transaction”), you’re giving us permission to charge you an applicable fee for it through the payment processor of our choosing.

Please note that this Payment Policy constitutes an integral part of the Reface Terms of Use and shall be read in conjunction with it. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Payment Policy shall have the meanings assigned to such terms by the Terms of Use. 

1. Subscription

Reface enables users to purchase a weekly or a lifetime Subscription to our Services that provide users with access to our PRO features.

1.1 Weekly Subscription

You can purchase a weekly Subscription to our Services which allows you to access our PRO features for 7 calendar days. Weekly Subscription automatically renews every week (with a charge of the Subscription fee specified in the Reface app), and you can cancel it at any time in accordance with Section 3 (How to cancel your Subscription?) of this Payment Policy.

1.2 Lifetime Subscription

You can purchase a lifetime Subscription to our Services which allows access to all the PRO features for a period of 30 years or until the date Reface ceases to commercially offer the Services, whatever period is shorter. We make no warranties as to the expected duration of the lifetime Subscription and its related Services. Please note that Reface does not provide you with the opportunity to cancel your lifetime Subscription.

2. One-Time Payments

You can also perform One-Time Payments (as defined in Section 7(a) of the Terms of Use), while generating digital content, including AI Avatars and AI Photos features. Such content is completed after the generation and can be instantly consumed by the users. For these reasons, One-Time Payments are final and Reface does not provide you with the opportunity to cancel and/or refund them. You can learn more about this in Section 4.3 (What can’t you refund?) of this Payment Policy.

3. How to cancel your Subscription?

3.1 Cancel iOS Subscription, step-by-step instructions:

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap your name.

3. Tap Subscriptions (if you don’t see “Subscriptions,” tap “iTunes & App Store” instead. Then tap your Apple ID, tap View Apple ID, sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, and tap Subscriptions).

4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription or you see an expiration message in red text, the Subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

3.2 Cancel Android Subscription, step-by-step instructions:

1. Open the Google Play app.

2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.

3. You will be redirected to your Google Play subscriptions.

4. Tap Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions.

5. Find a Reface Subscription and cancel it.

4. How to request a refund?

‍If it’s less than 48 hours since you bought an app or made an in-app purchase, you can request a refund.

4.1 For iOS users

You can claim a refund by visiting https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Find a Reface Subscription and fill out the form.

4.2 For Android Users

You can claim a refund by following the instruction below:

1. On your device, go to https://play.google.com/store/account.

2. Click Order History.

3. Find the order you want to return.

4. Select Request a refund or Report a problem and choose the option that describes your situation.

5. Complete the form and note that you’d like a refund.

6. You’ll get a message that says “Thank you for sharing your concerns”. You’ll then get an email with your refund decision. You’ll usually get this within 15 minutes, but it can take up to 4 business days.

4.3 What can’t you refund?

Some of the Services and content we may provide to you are not subject to refund. We won’t provide any refunds to One-Time Payments, including to AI Avatars and AI Photos, unless the quality of the generated results is objectively unsatisfactory or there are other reasons which in Reface’s sole discretion are reasonable and sufficient to issue a refund. In any case, you can contact our support via the in-app support system or email hi@reface.ai and we will be happy to assist you.

For our European customers. In compliance with our statutory obligations, we must inform you of the specific nature of certain digital content provided by Reface (e.g., AI Avatars, AI Photos). Due to the immediate availability and consumable nature of these digital products, the standard right of withdrawal commonly granted within a 14-day period is not applicable in this case. Please note that this does not impact any other consumer rights prescribed by applicable laws or your ability to cancel a weekly Subscription with Reface at any time. The cancellation process is straightforward and can be initiated as per the terms provided in Section 3 (How to cancel your Subscription?) of this Payment Policy.
