RACE DESCRIPTION

After a short climb for the start line, racers will descend to the fast flowy Lowe’s creek section of the course followed by a series of ascends to get them to the highest point of the course.  From there they will negotiate several sections of singletrack with rock gardens, roots, and technical turns.  The lap finishes with a cruise around the camping area through the wooded Lowlands singletrack which flows well and allows racers to use their power to the max. Course distance for lap #1 is approximately six miles with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th laps being 5 miles.

PRE-RIDE

All student-athletes who have paid their NICA and WI League fees will receive a race plate and be able to pre-ride for free in 2019. Those students who are not signed up to race are welcome and encouraged to pre-ride the course. Please display your race plate on your bike.

  • Those would like to pre-ride only (and not race) do not need to register to race in Pit Zone.
  • We recommend all riders pre-ride the course.
  • Riders must have their race plate on their bike prior to entering the course.
  • Coaches must display a coach plate on their bike.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Camping: Tents ($15) and RVs ($25) available on-site, you must pre-register here. No electric hookup available for RVs. No camping available if you have not pre-registered.

Registering for Races ➜ Completed from your profile in Pit Zone or on-site ($15 late fee for on-site registration)

Riders do NOT have to check in at each race. Each Team's Director is responsible for knowing who is signed up to race for each race weekend prior to race day. Only those student-athletes that have signed up to race should be racing.
