Digital Livewell® HELP
Use these tips and all of your photos and videos will go through.
SENDING:
- MOST COMMON: If it is sending, things are working. WAIT in the livewell. Don’t browse away or let the phone fall asleep. Stay in the livewell and keep the phone awake until it is received.
- The more photos you send, the longer it takes. Weak signals also take longer.
- Don’t keep hitting "resubmit" as that will start over.
- Don't delete photos, edit photos, log out, or reinstall the app. You could lose the entry. After everything is “received” you can delete and edit photos in your phone gallery.
- Shared Wifi can be slow, like in a restaurant or if kids are playing video games. If wifi is slow, try turning wifi off or seek a faster connection.
- If it seems stuck: Swipe the app to close it, then reopen it and go to the livewell to see if it is sending. Closing the app starts the process over.
WAITING TO SYNC:
- MOST COMMON: Just wait until you have a better connection -- 3 bars or strong wifi.
- Low Storage can be a problem. Delete data from your phone, like videos or an old app. DO NOT DELETE your fish photos until all entries are received.
- Check if your phone is working by sending in a new fish entry. Either enter a fish into the practice tournament or enter a “0” length fish into your current event. Recheck the livewell.
NOT RECEIVED:
- MOST COMMON: You were in a low internet area or you closed the app. Do not leave the livewell or let the phone fall asleep.
- Always says “not received”, if it NEVER says sending, then you might have deleted a photo from your photo gallery before it was received. You can probably fix this. See below.
- Tap on the entry in the livewell. Scroll through the media, left to right.
- iPhones: Look for any blank blue screens with missing photos.
- Android: If you have red triangles on any photos, click on them.
- An empty blue box means a photo was deleted. Go to your photo gallery to restore it. iPhones- look for an album named Recently Deleted. Restore the photo and go back to the livewell.
- Power the phone off, then back on. This can turn off other phone services that might be affecting your entry. After restarting, go back to the livewell. DO NOT LOG OUT.
