Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano

The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano has been serving the community for over 40 years. They provided food to more than 178,000 hungry people in need every month and distributed over 20 million pounds last year. One of the ways the Food Bank is able to do this is through the Community Produce Program. This critical program nourishes over 26,000 households each month that might not have access to produce otherwise. The work the Food Bank does could not get done without the help of the hundreds of volunteers that donate their time to coordinate food drives, sort and pack the food, and help distribute it to their hungry neighbors. To learn more about the Food Bank and how you can help, please visit foodbankccs.org.
