Library Report

Preston Hot Springs Town-County Library

1. The Friends Christmas Tea went well. 42 people came and enjoyed refreshments and snacks. They raised $557.

2. The weeding of the collection is complete and the winter book sale started today. We had a donation of some books from the early 1900’s that are in pretty good shape in the sale so if you know a book collector, it might be worth a look.

3.  Annual Report:  The Interlocal Agreement Between the Town of Hot Springs and the County of Sanders, to Cooperate in the Provision of Library Services to the Residents of School District 14J, states under the subject of Funding, #8. The Board shall make and render to the Town and County a complete statistical and financial report of the operation of the Library at the end of the fiscal year. The report has been prepared and approved by the library board and there is a copy available at city hall and the library for public viewing. The report consists of 3 written pages with 4 pages of spread sheets to support the data. The Library Director can answer any questions. The annual report has been sent by email to the Sanders County Commissioners, fulfilling the Preston Hot Springs Town/County Libraries responsibilities concerning the report.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
