Parent Trainings .
- Tuesdays 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 @7:00 PM on Zoom-”How to raise a responsible child who becomes a responsible adult” with Peggy Hoime- We all want to raise responsible children who become responsible adults who do not shrug off their responsibilities as citizens. All children want and need to see themselves as response-able, powerful and able to respond to what needs to be done. They need this for their self-esteem and for their lives to have meaning and purpose. Children don’t want to just be doted on. They need, like the rest of us, to feel like they matter to the world, like their lives make a positive contribution. This starts with being responsible to their first community, their family, and it starts as soon as they are able to walk. So how do we raise our kids to take responsibility for their choices as well as their impact on others? This is what we will explore in this series. You will walk away with 15 practice tools that will enable you to teach your child how to be responsible, along with a guide of age appropriate responsibilities. Register by emailing Kelly at Pathwaysforparents9@gmail.com
