Odin/Loki Degas Bottle Installation Instructions
Contents included in supercharger kit:
*Odin kits shipped after 6/1/2021 date will include the needed components in the kit.*
After installing the heat exchanger and routing the inlet hoses to the Odin supercharger lid, we will proceed to the install of the lid-mounted degas bottle and route the associated intercooler core outlet lines and bottle outlet to the intercooler pump.
If your vehicle is equipped with a K-brace, you will need to make a cut to remove the driver’s side leg of this brace for clearance before installing the Odin degas bottle. This cut is similar to the cut for the Gen3R and Roush superchargers. The steps and examples for this cut are located at the end of this guide.
Bottle Mounting
First, you’ll mount your bottle to the lid using the included hardware and spacers. There will be (3) M6 x 1 mm - 35 mm bolts and (3) M6 x 13 mm OD, 3 mm long spacers you’ll need from the associated hardware pack included with your bottle.
Locate the 3 lid bolt locations on the driver’s side of the supercharger lid and remove any pre-existing bolts in these 3 locations. You will first place the spacers in these locations and then align the bottle’s 3 mounting tabs and fasten the bottle in place with the 3 (size/length) bolts as illustrated. Do not fully tighten at this time, as we are mounting for hose routing.

Hose Routing
You will use the molded hose for the driver’s side intercooler core outlet to the bottle inlet nearest this outlet. See illustration below. The included hose will NEED to be trimmed to fit your preferences. Once trimmed, install it without clamps. You will need to install all the clamps at one time once the final hose fitment is confirmed. This hose uses one Gates Power Grip clamp at the intercooler end and one constant tension clamp at the bottle.
For the passenger side, you will obtain one of the lengths of the included ¾” heater hose with one short 90-degree end from your kit parts. This hose will go forward from the passenger side intercooler core outlet, route underneath the supercharger inlet and cold air intake, then up to the bottle’s right side inlet. See illustration below. Mockup the routing and trim the hose to length. Then install without clamps. This hose uses one Gates Power Grip clamp at the intercooler end and one constant tension clamp at the bottle end.

Finally, you will install the hose that runs from the bottle outlet to the heat exchanger pump. Use another of the included ¾” heater hoses with a short 90-degree end and constant tension clamp to connect to your pump’s inlet, then route the hose with gentle bends through the opening in the fender apron to connect to the bottle’s bottom outlet. You want enough slack to allow for gentle bends and adjustment for the intake once installed, but not enough to allow the hose to come into contact with the driver’s side exhaust manifold. See illustrations below.

Connecting to Bottle
Once the hose length and fitment are satisfactory, install the bottle’s end with a constant tension clamp. This hose will use two constant tension clamps, one on the pump end and one on the bottle end.
Check lengths for the ability to remove the bottle’s hardware and tilt/tip the bottle forward for access to the coil cover, coils, and spark plugs. You should be able to tilt the bottle as shown in the illustration below to make clearance for maintenance work on the driver’s side.
You may then return to the bottle inlet hoses, install your (2) Gates Power Grip clamps on the intercooler side of these lines, and apply heat to seal these clamps. Then, use (2) constant tension clamps on the two ends at the bottle side.
This completes the degas bottle installation and you may continue on with the installation of your Odin/Loki supercharger kit!
K-Brace Trim/Install instructions
If your vehicle came equipped with the factory K-brace that extends a leg down to the driver’s side strut tower, you will need to uninstall this brace and cut the driver’s side leg off for clearance for this bottle. If you have purchased the upgraded Odin Ice tank, this procedure will not be necessary.
The K-brace is removed by removing the four 15 mm nuts that attach the brace on each of the two strut towers. Then remove the clips on the cowl panel to gain access to the five 13 mm bolts that fasten the brace to the firewall.
Once removed, you’ll use the line from the seal to mark a single, straight line for a cut as shown below. The additional lines are to indicate the piece being removed.
Once cut, be sure to apply paint to the fresh cut to prevent rust on the exposed steel. Your final product should look as illustrated below.
Reinstall your altered k-brace using the original 13 mm bolts, 2 of the 15 mm nuts on the passenger side strut tower, and then reinstall the push pin clips in the cowl. Then you may proceed with your Odin degas bottle installation.
