Dear Parents/Caregivers
RE: Y9 Camp Adair 27-29th March 2019
This year our Year 9 Leadership Camp will be held at Camp Adair - a fabulously well-resourced camp in the heart of the Hunua ranges. This three day leadership camp is especially designed to develop team bonding, conquer personal challenges, and develop leadership experience and skills.
This camp is being organised as an additional outdoor education opportunity, specifically for our Y9 students.
The cost of the camp has been partially subsidised by the school. A $235 payment is required from parents. This covers all accomodation, meals and activities for the 3 days. Because of a quote increase there is a price increase from last year. A payment plan can be set up through the school office where installments can be made.
Our preferred method of payment is through our school website online payment portal. Alternatively you can pay by cash, cheque or eftpos at the office, or by paying directly into our school bank account: ASB 12-3122-0202229-000
In the particulars section please type your child’s name eg. TSmith, in the code section type your child’s room number and in the reference section type briefly what the payment is for eg. “Camp Adair”
Parents are an essential and valuable resource. We need 4 parents/caregivers who enjoy the outdoors and are willing to supervise/ support student activities in the field, as well as the day to day running of the camp. If you are such a person, we would love you to join us. Please note, priority will be given to parents who are able to attend for the three days. Please indicate via the agenda book or email me your availability and skills. Additional information will be sent in due course.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Kind regards
Eric Karshagen
