Mobile IT Force Terms and Conditions
NOTE: These Terms and Conditions adhere to and are superseded by applicable Lenovo Warranty and Agreements (here).
By submitting my property to Mobile IT Force, I agree to the following regarding warranties, payments, refunds, and waiver of liability described in these Terms and Conditions:
SERVICE WARRANTY
Our services are warranted for 7 calendar days. The warranty period begins on the date your computer is released, as indicated by the pickup date on the sales order. We will do our best to protect you from spyware and viruses but re-infections are not covered under our warranty. Moreover, we cannot warranty any system having an invalid Windows product key since we are unable to install critical updates.
HARDWARE WARRANTY
All hardware purchased from Mobile IT Force is warranted for 30 calendar days from the date on the sales order. Should the hardware need to be replaced within the warranty period, there will be no additional charge for the warranted materials and labor. For warranty claims after the 30 calendar days, clients are kindly asked to directly contact the manufacturer of the hardware for support.
SOFTWARE WARRANTY
Given the unstable nature of software, Mobile IT Force does not warranty the compatibility or functionality of software solutions. Support for software that has been purchased from Mobile IT Force is provided by the manufacturer. However, call us if you have a question. We are here to help.
PAYMENT
Prepayment is required. The Standard Service rate of $99.99 is nonrefundable. It covers the cost of the diagnostic work. If any additional costs are incurred in order to repair the computer, Mobile IT Force will confirm with the client before performing the work. All material costs must be paid in full before the unit can be released. If a part needs to be special ordered, prepayment for the cost of materials will be required.
REFUNDS
Full refunds are possible only when no work has been done on the computer. Refunds are generally issued within 2 weeks from the date of pickup. Refunds will only be processed by check or credited back to your credit card. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds in cash. A check will be issued for cash refunds.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Although we will do our best to preserve your data and your settings, Mobile IT Force is not responsible for any loss of data, software, or settings. We highly recommend that you maintain a current backup of all your important data. Mobile IT Force is not responsible for any material loss or any damage resulting from theft, fire, terrorism, natural disasters, or acts of God. Mobile IT Force cannot accept responsibility for storing any equipment 30 calendar days after the sales order date. After the 30 day period, Mobile IT Force will dispose of the computer and related materials. If for some reason you are unable to retrieve your computer within this 30 day period, please notify us in writing to make special arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
In some cases, it may be necessary to reinstall your operating system. Consequently, your software, data, and custom configurations will be erased. Your operating system will be reverted back to its original default state and you will have to reinstall your programs. Please indicate on this form which data you would like to retain so it can be transferred. (NOTE: We may not be able to transfer data that is corrupted or is located on a faulty hard drive.) All software must be accompanied with a genuine product key code in order to install and update them. Please feel free to let us know of any questions or concerns you may have.
NOTE: We will charge the credit card on file for any balances due on approved services and parts.
