Margy earned her first three teaching certificates while living and studying in Japan. She has since achieved the highest-ranking teaching certificate in her school. She teaches several classes a month and has also conducted many demonstrations and workshops for both Ikebana members and non-members. She reaches out to the community to spread the word of not only Kado Sensho Ikenobo but Ikebana International.
