Attention:  Any students who are interested in going into the business field.  Joliet Junior College’s Business Department faculty have organized an event for high school students to learn more about majoring in business. Students will have the opportunity to learn about skills required in specific business fields, and the types of

college courses required for an Associate’s Degree/and or Bachelors Degree.  The event will take place on Wednesday, April 4th.  Please see Mrs. Malsky in Room 209 to sign up or for more information.

Attention students who are thinking about majoring in English and Communications! The department of English & Communications at Blackburn College has invited Miss J and her students to the fifth annual Graham Symposium of Letters and Culture on FRIDAY, APRIL 6.

This year’s day of learning--entitled CREATING CONTENT--will introduce students to English & Communications as a field of study and pathways to successful careers. Students will choose three workshops to attend that will focus on the work that students will do in college and how it prepares them for various professions. Additionally, students will create projects and compete for prize money.

The symposium is FREE to attend; however, since the trip is a long one, Miss J asks that the students bring money to buy breakfast and dinner.

If you are interested in attending the trip, please see Miss J for a permission form. Forms are due no later than Friday, March 23.

In conjunction with Student Ambassadors, Student Council and SADD we are asking

Students to wear Orange on March 14th to show support for Anti-School Violence.

Seniors please check your school email account for information on voting for senior favorites.  Please vote as soon as possible.

Awards night for all girls basketball players will be tonight at 630 pm!
