To voters in the state’s 96th Legislative District:
With Nikki Rivera, you have an incredible opportunity to send to Harrisburg someone who will passionately, tirelessly and sincerely advocate on your behalf. When it comes to advancing the greater good, Nikki is all in.
I’ve worked with Nikki at Warwick High School since 2009. In that time, I’ve come to trust Nikki as a rigorous teacher and a caring mentor to students.
An early memory of Nikki is of her giving her students a challenge, with a promise of an engaging reward. Upon meeting the challenge, Nikki allowed her students to take turns cutting her hair, to donate it to Locks of Love. In this moment, I knew that Nikki was all in on helping her students develop capable intellects and become caring citizens.
In the time since, I’ve shared the teachers lunchroom with Nikki — that informal place where you really get to know someone. During those meal times with colleagues — talking about our classes, our families, the best way to prepare pulled pork and the world at large — I’ve only become more convinced of Nikki’s sincerity of character.
Her driving force is working toward a society in which all people can thrive and prosper. She really is all in on this, and she will be all in on serving the people of the 96th in Harrisburg. I hope she can count on your vote.
