#1 State Leadership Conference Support                                                         $10,000+

This fund request replaced the 2017 NLC stipend program so that a over 170 chapters with 2,500+ members will benefit from the funds. There is a wide array of services that will be supported by support directed to SLC such as awards and sponsor promotion. A minimum of $10,000 will be directed to the Wisconsin FBLA State Office. If more than $30,000 is generated in conference sponsorship support, then the foundation will direct 30% of additional sponsorships up to a maximum of $20,000.

#2 Creating Chapters                                                                         $1,000

Each new or reactivated chapter will be provided with a check for $100 after officially registering 10 members.  In 2017-2018, checks were sent to 8 chapters.

#3 Outstanding Chapter                                                                        $15,000

The National office currently has an annual program to recognize outstanding chapters http://web.fbla-pbl.org/focrp/default.asp?p=preview. We believe it is vital for chapter to be actively involved and supporting a robust student experience by implementing the goals of FBLA. The funds would be released after chapters are recognized by the National office (deadline for chapter submissions is April 1). The funds would be allocated to all chapters that qualify with a minimum of $250 and maximum of $2,500.  In 2017-2018 we increased Wisconsin Outstanding Chapter Recognition from 2 to 14 chapters.

#4 Funding for Students with Financial Needs                                                $5,000

This program was initiated in 2016-2017. To support student attendance at conferences including state and national conferences, we increased the amount to $5000 in 2017-2018 when we discontinued NLC stipends. Wisconsin FBLA will administer the program through an online request form on a first-come first-served basis and enter a credit for any Wisconsin FBLA sponsored conferences.  In 2017-2018 the Foundation was invoiced for $4,945.

#5 Regional Scholarship                                                                        $3,500

It is our request that the Wisconsin FBLA-PBL Foundation collaborate with the Regional Vice Presidents to secure a Regional Leadership Conference sponsor that will support the implementation of a Regional Recognition Award.  In 2017-2018, Region 6 developed a regional membership recognition program that encouraged each chapter to submit a Who’s Who competitive submission for consideration (top score 113 pts).   The top Who’s Who candidate from Wisconsin is recognized at the National Leadership Conference on stage during the Opening/Closing Session.  Materials for consideration were received by 9 members at the 2018 SLC (top score 151 pts) and 8 members at the 2017 SLC (148 pts).  This budget establishes a $500 chapter award in each of our 7 regions (due by the third Friday in January).  Request that the State President develop a certificate that can be awarded by each regional host.  Items for consideration will include:
