Week of May 17

It’s so crazy that we are in the last week of the school year! The year has gone by so fast! Thank you for all your time volunteering and making it a great year for kids! What a busy year it has been learning, growing, and experiencing life together! We are all ready for a much needed break. Below are a few important reminders for this last week!

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief - We finished reading The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan today. Many kids loved the book and may want to continue reading the series. There are 6 books in the series. “The Sea of Monsters” is the second book.

Last week of school  (May 20-23)  information:

Tuesday, May 21 -

Wednesday, May 22

*Work on creating and decorating “cars” - We are not asking for parents to buy things for the cars. But if students have decorations at home they would like to use, they may bring those in on Wednesday, May 22. We have plenty of paper and glue, etc. here at school for kids to decorate with. No glitter or paint please.

**All cars will be recycled and not taken home (they start falling apart as they are carried through the school and as they get put into cars). We have discussed this with students already.**

*Bring a bag for supplies - Students will bring home all school supplies on Wednesday afternoon. Please keep that in mind for biking/walking students*

Thursday, May 23

Elementary Progress Reports:

EPRs will be available to parents on Saturday, May 25, at 9 am.
