Carrington is in her first year as an Assistant Coach at Brookside, but it is not her first year as a part of the Brookside swim family. A Glassboro native, Carrington starting swimming at Brookside at the age of seven and continued to swim there through her senior year of high school.
Aside from swimming at Brookside, Carrington also swam for three years for the Greater Philadelphia Aquatic Club (GPAC). She also swam in high school for Glassboro High School where she still holds the 100 backstroke record.
Now as a full-time orchestra director in the Haddonfield Public Schools, Carrington continues her love for swimming from the coaching side by being the Haddonfield Memorial High School Girls Team Assistant Coach. During her past three years with the team, Carrington has helped coach the team to three state finals meets with the most recent state finals ending in a state championship!
Having her swimming career roots set in Brookside, Carrington feels blessed to be able to come back to the club to continue the Brookside story of love and family through this incredible sport! Carrington looks forward to working alongside of Coach Matt and Coach Mack and having fun in the sun with the Brookside swim family!
