Accessing eduToolbox Materials through Lipscomb Learning

Please follow the instructions below to register for access to the relocated eduToolbox educational materials. These materials are now hosted in Lipscomb's Canvas Catalog environment, Lipscomb Learning.

These steps will walk you through enrolling in the eduToolbox "course" (don't worry, you will not be graded on this), setting up a new Lipscomb Learning account through Canvas Catalog (if you don't already have one), and finally accessing the relocated materials.

If you have any issues or questions throughout this process, please reach out to us by emailing canvascatalogsupport@lipscomb.edu, and we will be glad to help!

Steps:

  1. Once you are in Lipscomb Learning, click the "Enroll" button.
  2. If you already have a Lipscomb Learning account, you can click here to log in instead of creating a new account. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
  3. If you do not already have a Lipscomb Learning account, complete the required information, then click "Register New Account" at the bottom of the page.
  4. You should now be in your "Cart", so click the "Checkout for Myself" button.
  1. Don't worry, this is completely free!

  1. Next, click "Enroll" to confirm your access to the materials
  2. If you did not previously have a Lipscomb Learning account, you must verify the email on your new account and set up your password before you can proceed to the course.
  1. You should have received an email to the email address you used to set up your new account
  1. Once you click the link, you will be prompted to set up a new password. Make sure it's a good one!
  1. Once you have verified your email and set up your account (if needed), you will now see eduToolbox in your courses list on your Lipscomb Learning dashboard. You can now click "Go to Course" to access the course materials
  2. You will now be in the eduToolbox course that hosts all of the materials that you can continue to freely access!

Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):

To ensure the security of all participants, Lipscomb requires multi-factor authentication when accessing Lipscomb Learning. MFA is a security method that requires an additional method (factor) of authentication when logging into an application. This can be either an authenticator app (such as LastPass Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator) or via SMS text message.

You will not be prompted to set up MFA when you initially set up your Lipscomb Learning account, but you will be prompted to do so the next time you log in. When you are prompted to set up MFA, please follow the steps below to set it up

Authenticator App Setup:

  1. Install or open your preferred authenticator app on your smartphone. We recommend one of the following:
  1. Tap "Add new Account" in the app
  2. Scan the QR Code shown in the MFA setup prompt
  3. Enter the verification code shown in the "Verification Code" box at the bottom and click "Verify"

SMS Text Message Setup:

  1. Enter your phone number in the "US Mobile Number" box and click "Send"
  2. Enter the six-digit code you received to your phone in the "Verification Code" box on the new screen and click "Verify"
