Message from our Principal

We had a busy week.  We completed the reading MAP assessments and survived our first 2-hour delay of the year.  With more bad weather on the horizon, I realized that we need to communicate the 2 hour delay schedule with families.  Please take a moment to review the schedule that we will use should we have another 2 hour delay.  Also, should school be canceled next week.  We will move MAP testing for grades 2-5 to the next day.  Everyone have a great weekend and stay warm.

MLK Day of Service Project

We are so excited to share the many messages, drawings, and positive vibes that our students have created for patients with cancer in our community and beyond.  This link will also be shared to local cancer treatment centers, and we welcome families to send the link to anyone who could use some encouragement and motivation to help them through treatments.

Students will all attend encore classes according to their schedule either in-person (hybrid students) or on a Zoom meeting (all virtual students) according to their encore schedule.

On days when hybrid or all virtual students do not have an in-person or synchronous (Zoom) special scheduled, they have the option to select an encore class on the website and choose from the activities provided by their teachers.  Please feel free to reach out to any of the encore teachers directly if you have questions.

When students are at home on Fridays, all students can join a Zoom with their scheduled encore teacher following the “Fridays Only” rotation of our days of the cycle.

Here are the times for each grade on Fridays:

12:30-1:00 - First grade

1:00-1:30 - Second grade

1:30-2:00 - Third grade

2:00-2:30 - Fourth grade
