The Westport Playhouse ::: Loading Dock
The entire Westport Plaza shares the loading dock so you will need to schedule the times that you will require its use in advance. All semi-trucks over 48' as well as any items being unloaded that are over 7' in length may require to be unloaded at street level. Please contact the staff in advance to see which option for unloading/loading would be best for your show.

Overview
- The Playhouse is equipped wjth professional DMX lighting controls and lighting. There is a 48x1.2kw Lightronics dimmer rack. Additionally, there is a 60A 3phase distro box in the front of house available for additional items. We additionally deploy downstage light LED light bars

Overview
The sound system is well equipped with stage-to-booth snake / inputs, full range PRO audio subs and speaker systems, Digital mixer with scene memory and motorized faders - top PRO audio level gear. We upgrad…therefore detailed specs evolve and are available upon request.

Instrument Accessories
Extra gel frames, template holders, drop-in iris, top hats, donuts, barn doors and side arms can be made available with notice prior to arrival.
Stage Lighting Cable
All lighting power cable is 12/3 SO with Edison NEMA 5-15 connectors. Size of cables run from 5' to 100' extensions
Ladders
All ladders used in the playhouse must meet OSHA and ANSI codes. They will also be used in accordance with their design. Only employees or designated contractors are authorized to use ladders in the Playhouse or its surrounding area.
Dressing Rooms There is currently 2 dressing room that can comfortably hold a total of 10 - 12 people. Please note there is no running water available in the dressing room, but restrooms are very near. Space meets AEA guidelines.
Restrooms
Private restrooms are not available in our space. A set of public bathrooms is shared with a neighboring restaurant just down the hall from the dressing rooms.

Venue Notes
BAR
The playhouse bar usually opens at least 1 hour prior to show time. If necessary we will hold a show to accommodate longer lines. Bar will remain open through intermission where applicable, and after show when possible.
BOX OFFICE
Box office usually opens 1-hour prior show time and will remain open through intermission where applicable. Tickets may be purchased at WestportPlay.com, many online outlets, and also at the theater box office.
COMPS
Please provide all comps requests in writing. Playhouse reserves the right to hold comp seats, which is also negotiable depending on needs.
PRESHOW HOUSE MUSIC/ VIDEO
House reserves the right to run video along with any preshow announcements. House reserves the right to control any content on video marquees in or outside the theater.
MERCHANDISE
Touring entity is responsible for all merch sales. Playhouse can assist in hiring a seller when necessary. Payment to seller is tour's responsibility.
PARKING
There is plenty of surface and SECURE, SAFE garage parking available in the Plaza. If you require specialty parking (i.e. bus, rv, trucks) please make sure to cover during advance.
