How to Connect with Samurai

Go to the Samurai website, but do not click on 'Mentee sign-in'& ‘Mentor sing-in’ as they are for Samurai use only. Please read the instructions below on how to meet the Samurai online. If a room number is listed in the calendar, the Samurai is working on campus, not online. Otherwise, follow the instructions below to meet the Samurai online.

(1) Please log in to your Kean email first, as we only accept Kean email addresses for Samurai tutoring.

(2.1) Open the Samurai website in another tab of the same browser, then click the Samurai's name on the Calendar

(2.2) Click “More details”

 (2.3) In the pop-up window, click the meeting location.

    (2.4) When prompted, choose "Open Microsoft Teams."

        (2.5) Click “Join Now” to join Online Samurai Tutoring.

(3) If you’re the first to join, you’ll see the message: “Waiting for others to join...”
