Dear CASLV Centennial Hills Families

It is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the 2020-2021 school year! We are all excited to have students back in our virtual classrooms filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. I want to thank you all for your patience and support. I want to ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff. After careful deliberation, our Board of Directors has concluded that all TecCoral Academy of Science Las Vegas (“CASLV”) campuses will start and operate the 2020-2021 school year with Full-time Distance Learning at all of Coral campuses. This action is an extra measure of protection to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19. Full-time distance learning will be in place for the entire first quarter. We will continually re-evaluate the learning model for the 2nd quarter. The first day of school for students is August 24, 2020; you can see our updated school calendar Here .

Please see the information below about Distance Learning, school uniforms, schedule, online curriculum,  during Distance Learning, supply list, etc.

Students are already placed in courses in Infinite Campus. You can view your schedule from IC Parent Portal.

We will offer accommodations to help those in need. Teachers will be going over their procedures during orientation. Below is the bell schedule for those of you who want to follow structured agenda:

Supply List

We understand that some parents might have purchased some items based on the posted supply list. Due to the changes in the schedule, some of those items may not be needed until we come back to in person learning. Supplies will be discussed during the orientation time.

School Uniforms

Students are not required to wear uniforms during distance learning, however, students must wear school appropriate clothing during live conference meetings.

Technology Needs Form

It is extremely important for all students to have an electronic device for distance learning.  Although many of you already completed the district technology survey, we recognize that some families were unable to submit the survey, or that circumstances may have changed since then.  We are asking that you complete the Technology Needs Form by August 14th so that we can ensure that we have enough Chromebooks to distribute to those who need them.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Attendance Matters!!

Attending school everyday increases your child's chances of success in school and in life.

Families - Take on the challenge and set your GOAL for perfect school attendance!
