Library Orientation information

Step 1.  Accept your invitation to the Library Orientation

Step 2.  Work on each module

•  As you work through the modules you will complete a few quizzes.  The quiz grade does not count toward the final grade of pass/fail.

Step 3. Complete the course evaluation

• The final module of the course is the Course Evaluation, which must be completed in Populi.  
• Directions on how to complete the evaluation are in the module in the course.
• Evaluation responses are anonymous.  Be completely candid with your responses.

How long will the course take to complete?

• The time to complete varies by individual.  Some students complete all of the modules in a few hours while other students pace themselves and take longer.  An estimate would be 4 hours on average.

Do I need to memorize all of this information?

•  The course is filled with a lot of detailed information.  The point is not to have you memorize all of the details but rather offer information about what services the library offers, as well as tools available to assist in writing.

 When is the library Orientation due?

• Specific due dates for each program will be listed in the Library Orientation course in Canvas.
