VERY IMPORTANT!

  • Please read your child’s books with them that are coming home.  We will have gone over the book in class that day and you reading with them at night helps build their fluency.

  • Read to your child every night.  Studies show that children who read 3-5 books everyday show higher comprehension skills in 3rd and 4th grade.

  • Practice writing their name at home with them.  Some kids still want to write uppercase letters in the middle of their name.
