Lenny, Jackie, and Jayne and myself, the liaison ranger for the Chester Greenways who was visiting, took a ride out to Chapeltown last week, and on the basis of that I’ve updated this route description:-

Information Board Installation, Sunday 12th November.
We are installing the board in Beeley Woods this Sunday, the 12th.
We'll meet at the Beeley Lane entrance to the trail at 11am and transport the board to its installation site - hopefully we can load it onto Tony's bike trailer and push it along, otherwise we'll have to take turns carrying it so many hands will make the job easier. Then we'll need to dig 2 holes, fill them with water (from the river) and set the lectern up and fill the holes with postcrete (it only takes up to 10 mins to set). We'll bring spades and the postcrete. Tim Hess is bringing a bucket to get the water and the board is being delivered for us.
Afterwards (from1.00-3.00pm) we are organising a fun event with family-friendly activities and refreshments so do stay!
Please can you let Polly know if you can come along to help with the installation. polytone@doctors.org.uk
