Guests are required to vacate their unit by 10am on the day of departure.
If you require a late check out, please contact reception, the day prior to departure. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note that a late check out is not always possible.
Please refrain from cooking fish/seafood and other foods that may leave residual odours in your unit.
A charge may be applied if your unit is unable to be let due to lingering odours.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
When the alarm signal is heard in your unit, please vacate your unit quickly and safely using the nearest safe exit.
Assemble on the footpath outside the Motor Lodge (next to illuminated sign), clear of the main entrance.
Free, unlimited wireless internet is available in all our units. The password is located on the telephone console in your unit.
Property left behind by guests is kept for a maximum of three months. Guests should contact the Motor Lodge to arrange the return of any items left behind.
Guests are responsible for the noise generated in their units. We trust that you will be considerate to others staying at Park View Motor Lodge. Please refrain from making excessive noise that might disturb others, particularly after 9.00pm.
Should you experience an unacceptable level of noise from an adjacent unit, please phone reception anytime, so that we can deal with this issue.
There are no specific allocated parking spaces however there are sufficient car parks for 1 vehicle per unit.
Please ensure your visitors park on the roadside.

Should anything urgent arise outside these hours please phone the manager’s residence by dialing 827.
Your comfort is paramount to us, so if there is anything that requires our urgent attention, either noise issues, an unwanted bug, or a repair required, please give us the opportunity to put it right for you.
We take all reasonable care to ensure the security of your unit and belongings. For your part, please close and lock all doors to your unit and vehicle when you are not in attendance.
24hour surveillance cameras are in operation throughout the Motor Lodge.
A safe is available at reception for your smaller valuable items.
Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in the units.
Smoking is permitted in the courtyard and grounds of the Motor Lodge. Ashtrays are provided for use outside the unit.
A MINIMUM FEE OF $200.00 WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO COVER EXTRA CLEANING COSTS IF UNITS HAVE BEEN SMOKED IN.

We welcome your visitors but please respect your fellow guests. All visitors must depart by 9pm in the evening. Excessive noise and parties are not permitted.
In addition to the cooking facilities in the units, we also have available the following for guest use: Barbeque, Electric frypan and a rice cooker. Should you require any of these please contact reception.
We offer a range of delicious room service breakfasts including a full cooked breakfast, an eggs benedict or a continental breakfast.
These are available for delivery to your room from 7am – 8:15am weekdays and 8am – 9am on weekends.
Should you require breakfast outside of these times, the continental breakfast can be delivered to your room the night before.
The breakfast menus are located at reception and need to be handed in by 8:30pm the night before.
Your unit will be serviced daily during your stay, sometime between 9am and 1pm. This will include replenishment of towels and restocking of tea/coffee and bathroom amenities.
However, please help us to champion the care of the Earth’s precious resources. By hanging your towel for reuse we have the opportunity to save water, energy and minimize our use of detergents.
If you would like your bath linen replaced please leave it on the floor, and we will happily replace it when we service your room.
If you require any extra supplies such as tea, coffee or bathroom products, please contact reception.
We respect your privacy. If you do not want your room serviced on a particular day, please notify reception.
We can arrange dry cleaning services from Monday to Friday. Please enquire at Reception for a bag and Dry Cleaning form. Dry cleaning needs to be handed in at Reception by 9am for same day service.
We have a DVD player available which we are happy to connect to the TV in your room. Please contact reception if you wish to make use of this.
We have a selection of over 60 complimentary DVD’s for your enjoyment.
The Guest laundry is located to the right of the conference room building (open from 8am to 9pm). After 9pm access is available using your unit key – please lock again after use.
The washing machine and dryer are complimentary – Full wash cycle is approximately 45 minutes.
Washing powder is available at Reception at a cost of $2.00 per sachet (adequate for one load).
If you require a complimentary New Zealand Herald to be delivered to your door Monday to Saturday mornings, please contact reception.
Pillows and Blankets
We understand everyone has their own personal preference in pillows. If you would prefer a different type of pillow to that on your bed we can offer you the following choices:

Additional blankets can also be obtained from reception if you require more bedding than that provided.
Portacot and high chair
For those travelling with young children, we have a portacot and high chair available for no additional charge. Please contact reception if you require these.
We are proud of our recycling programme. If you would like to help us recycle, we have glass, cans, plastic and paper recycle bins located at the rear of the property
You can either place your recyclables in these bins or keep them separate in your unit and we will recycle them for you.
Robes and Extra Towels
In each unit there are two robes provided for guest use during your stay. If you require additional robes please contact reception. If you would like to purchase a robe to take with you, new robes are available from reception at a cost of $45.
Additional towels are available from reception. We would prefer if you did not use the room towels in the pool area. There is a supply of towels in the pool area for use there.
Complimentary umbrellas are available for guest use during their stay. These can be collected and returned to reception during normal opening hours.
All units have an air conditioning unit suitable for cooling and heating the room. Please see the separate page for the operation of these units.
Iron and Ironing Board
Each unit has both an iron and ironing board which are located in the wardrobe.
To use the microwave in the unit, first select the power level by pressing the “Power” button and then select the time required. Lastly press the start button.
All stereo units have radio, CD, USB, Aux plug and Bluetooth capability. Any questions regarding use, please contact reception. Please see the separate page for the local radio stations.
TV in lounge – These have Sky Guest select which means you have 50 plus channels of Sky Television including all Free View channels.
These TV’s are operated fully by the Sky remote.

Please note that the units will take 5-10 minutes to fully function in the mode you select. Please avoid changing to other modes during this time.

The Swimming pool, Sauna and Spa Pool Complex is located between Units 8 and 9.

Pool towels are provided for your use and kept in the pool area. Additional pool towels are available from reception.
The Spa pool is heated to ± 36º Celsius.
Please hang the covers on the hooks on the wall beside the spa and replace covers after use.
The Swimming pool is 1.3 meters deep and is heated to ± 28º Celsius. Pool rules are on the sign board in the Pool area. Please be considerate of other guests sharing the amenities with you.
All children under 12 years MUST be supervised by a responsible Adult.
Please contact reception on 800 if you would like to use the sauna, as we to need switch it on and it takes about 30 minutes to heat up. The sauna facility is available from 8:00am to 9:00pm.
Fitness Gym – Squash – Tennis
Park View Motor Lodge guests have complimentary access to the Hamilton Squash and Tennis club. This is located just 150m away along Tristram Street. Hours of access are generally 7am-9pm, 7 days. Use outside these hours can be arranged through our reception.
To access the facilities, please collect an access tag and instructions from our reception desk.
As there are a limited number of access tags we request that keys be returned within two hours of collecting the key from reception.
The gym is restricted to users over the age of 18.
Facilities include 7 squash courts, 8 Astrograss floodlit tennis courts, cardio room, circuits room and weights area.
Access to courts may be restricted during tournaments and interclub competitions. For court bookings please phone the club during business hours on ph 07 8343271.
Additional facilities offered on site include Sports massage, a pro shop and bar.
Conference Room at Park View Motor Lodge
This room has views of Waikato stadium, is fully air conditioned and comes with kitchen facilities. The Conference Room can accommodate up to 50 people. A smaller adjacent lounge area provides a break out room or can be used for tea/coffee breaks. A full range of presentation aids and catering options are available.

The Shuttle bus travels in a one way loop from Anglesea St opposite the Transport Centre, travelling south along Anglesea St, into Caro St, Alexandra, Hood, Anglesea, Bridge St, north on Victoria St, Liverpool St and then back to Anglesea St opposite the Transport Centre.
This service operates Monday to Friday 7am-6pm and leaves every 10 minutes.

The Hakarimata Scenic Reserve near Ngaruawahia is a great place to see kauri and to enjoy a walk or tramp through native bush. The reserve protects 1,850 ha of native forest. The large kauri on the Kauri Loop Track is rare for this area. Find out about nature and conservation in the reserve. There is a great fitness walk/run which takes you to the summit. It is a 335 metre climb from Brownlee Avenue to the summit with 1349 steps! The track meets the Hakarimata Walkway and the summit tower at 374 metres above sea level. The Hakarimata Summit Track is accessed via the Waterworks Walk. The Waterworks Walk starts on Brownlee Avenue, off Hakarimata Road, approx. 1 km north of Ngaruawahia.
