Ice-breaking activity where participants get to know each other through their own experiences in art-science collaborations.

Flash talk - Art in exhibition design

Maria João Fonseca will talk about the renovation plan of the Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto, focusing specifically in the conceptualization and construction of the Hall of Biodiversity in Porto, which was fully based on the key role played by art and aesthetics in the presentation and exhibition of scientific content and objects.

10.15 am - 10.30 am

Flash talk - Art, science and sound

Michael Bradke will talk about practical experiences that connect the world of sound art and science.

Active workshop in Biotehna led by bioartist

Active workshop led by bioartist from biohacker community / Kapelika.

Art/science hands-on educational activity

Art-science workshop on soil led by Samar Kirresh, leading to reflections on competences, questions raised, emotional/rational skills, etc. Group discussion activities.

Marina Leonard will focus on artists residencies program at Quai des Savoirs (France) and on how to create a fruitful connexion between the hosting structure, the artist and the public.
