Camp Cadet provides a week long experience for boys and girls ages 12 through 15. They are exposed to law enforcement activities and are given the opportunity to know police officers on a personal basis. All cadets will develop new friendships and share experiences that will last a lifetime. With archery, ziplines, fishing, mountain biking, softball, CSI, canoeing, and more, there is something for everyone.
Learn more and apply at CentreCountyCampCadet.com.
Girls’ week this year is July 28 through August 3rd. Boys week is August 4th through 10th.
Announcing a great new opportunity: Centre Girls Coding. The club is exclusively for middle school girls and is oriented for beginners, so girls who have no prior coding experience are absolutely encouraged to come. The only thing you need to bring is a computer. The first meeting will be on May 29th at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The club will run until June 12th this year and continue next school year. There will be creative games, fun activities, and a responsible adult chaperone. For more information, email Joy Liu at email@example.com or talk to a tech. ed. Teacher.
Students are introduced to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through LEGO®
robotics. They learn creative problem solving and teamwork as well as drag-and-drop software programming.
