Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests and Reports 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of October 3, 2023 through October 9, 2023

October 3, 2023- St. Clair County deputies received a call for a vehicle driving the wrong way on North bound 13 Highway. Missouri Conservation assisted in getting the vehicle stopped. St. Clair County deputies arrested Daryel Carter and transferred to the jail with charges pending for Driving While Intoxicated.

October 3, 2023- St. Clair County deputies received a walk-in call in regards to a possible ex-parte violation. Report was taken.

October 3, 2023- St. Clair County deputies arrested Isaac Miller on a Bates County warrant for Failure to Appear on Exceeding Speed 11-15.

October 3, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast W Highway in Black Jack for a report of a runaway juvenile. Juvenile was located and returned home.

October 4, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Lowry Street in Roscoe for a domestic disturbance. Suspect left the scene before deputies arrived.

October 4, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to East Burbank Street in Appleton City for a report of property damage. Property damaged was passenger window of a vehicle.

October 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 975 Road in Collins for a change in mental health. Report was taken.

October 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northwest 176 Road in Osceola for a suspicious person. Subject was fishing off the bridge.

October 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to North Lucas Street in Lowry City for a report of theft. Item stolen was a Stihl chainsaw. Report taken.

October 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to North Lucas Street in Lowry City for a report of juvenile threats. Reports taken.

October 6, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to 13 Highway in Collins for a motor vehicle accident. Vehicle that was hit was a Ford Fiesta. Suspect vehicle was described as a white mini van.

October 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to West 4th Street in Appleton City for threats from a juvenile. Report was made and juvenile referral was sent.

October 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Market Street in Osceola for a motor vehicle accident. Report was taken.  

October 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to 5th Street in Osceola for property damage. Report was taken.

October 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to East Rogers Street in Lowry City for a report of a dog bite. Report was taken.

October 8, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 1000 Road in Collins for a subject with an altered mental status. Subject was transported to Cox North for a mental evaluation.

October 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southwest Appleton Street in Roscoe for a domestic disturbance. Suspect left and victim did not want to press charges. Report was taken.

October 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 450 Road in Osceola for a dog bite. Juvenile was transported to Golden Valley. Report was taken.
