Dear Seckman Middle families:
We have lots of information below about our upcoming events & activities.
- Tryouts for the boys intramural basketball team start on September 16th. For details and the permission slip, click here.  If you have questions contact Coach DeBold or Coach Stokes.
- The 30% off SMS spiritwear sales ends on September 17th. Click here to check out the online spiritwear store.
- The SMS PTO is organizing a Halloween Costume Drive from September 23-27.  Please drop off new or gently used Halloween costumes in the SMS office.  They will be shared with those in need through our Fox C-6 Care Closet.  Click here for the flyer.
- The DnD Club is getting ready to start.  The first meeting will be September 26th after school from 3:00-4:15.  Click here for more info and the permission slip or email Ms. Dohm or Mrs. Price with questions.
- Our 3rd Annual SMS Color Run will be on October 11th.  The Color Run is a ton of fun and has helped us fund school improvements such as painting the outside of the building and redoing the front landscaping over the last two years.  This year’s funds will be used to update and replace aging student desks, chairs, and tables in our classrooms.  Click here for more info.
- Our after school Homework Lab has begun. Homework Lab is on Monday - Thursday until 4pm each week.  This is for students who need help with homework.  The lab is limited to 20 students per afternoon.  If you want your student to attend, please email Mrs. Ems or Mrs. Galler.
- SMS Yearbooks are now on sale. We have partnered with Jostens for this year’s yearbooks and they have lots of great options for personalization with yearbooks starting from $25.  Click here for info and to order.
- The Seckman High Jag Swag dance team is hosting a dance clinic for middle school students.  If you are interested in attending the clinic, click here for more info.
