Welcome to the new Kami integration on Schoology! While Kami hasn’t changed much, there is a new and improved process for assigning Kami documents on Schoology that will create a better teacher experience and provide you with additional features.
What has changed?

- Assessment Mode: the student will lose access to the document once it is turned in. After grading, you have the option of resharing the document with your students.
- Kami Due Date: choosing a due date will automatically submit all assignments when time is up.
- Control Features: select which tools students have access to on the assignment.
- Real-time monitoring: see student progress right in Schoology before students submit assignments.
- Grade work using Kami right in Schoology with fewer clicks!
- Kami Grader view shows one student Kami document as a time and allows you to grade using all the Kami tools
- Class View allows you to see all of the student documents with one click by scrolling side-to-side in the window. Here you can use the filter options, Kami tools, and grade assignments.
- Edit Template: Make updates and changes to a Kami document after it has been assigned to students. The changes will automatically update on all student copies once students hit refresh.
