SPECIAL MEETING

JOSLIN MEMORIAL LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

                            At the Library

Present:  Jean Joslin, Trish Read, Sally Reisner, Jason Butler

Absent:  David Babic

Jean opened the meeting at 5:35 P.M.

Additions and Deletions:  Delete budget and Covid and all reports, except President’s and Library Director’s.

Approve draft minutes:  Postponed

President’s Report:

-We were asked whether we could use funds toward improving our heating/cooling system.  Our systems are new & don’t need further work.  The Board agreed to decline offer for funds for this purpose.

-Decided to move some funds into Edward Jones account.

-Received money from grant for lights.

                -Received money from both towns  - annual shares.

Library Director’s Report:

Jason expecting ARPA grant.  Will use for two air purifiers and outdoor furniture.

New Business:

Program Coordinator Contract – reviewed draft contract and revised.

                Appeal for funds - reviewed Trish’s letter and details of disseminating it.

Next meeting is November 9th at 11:00 A.M. for working on letters.

Next regular meeting is November 17th  at 5:30 to work on budget.

Sally moved to end the meeting.  Trish seconded.  Meeting ended at 6:28 p.m.
