What are the realistic challenges that inhibit member nations from implementing them? Is it mere lack of will or unrealistic expectations from them? What are the pragmatic ways in which human rights can be implemented? Join Litcy Kurisinkal for this provocative conversation. She served as a Human Rights Research Consultant for more than a decade. She was the Regional Organizing Director of the Democratic Party of Illinois for the midterm elections in Nov 2022 and has worked with the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR), has served as the External Research Support for the UN Special Rapporteur on Sale and Sexual Exploitation of Children, and has worked on a range of human rights issues like civil and political rights, child rights, labor rights, migrant rights, health rights. Litcy was awarded the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy Paper Prize in 2013 from Harvard Kennedy School. |
