Tokenomics

Ownership in the Reddit Data Model is represented by the $RDML token.

The tokenomics for $RDML are designed to ensure a fair distribution and incentivize key stakeholders, while raising the required capital to ensure the model succeeds and can be further developed once deployed. The total token supply will be 1 billion $RDM tokens, with the following allocation:

Public IMO

• 50% of Total Supply: Reserved for the Initial Model Offering (IMO) to the public.
• Fair Launch Price: The public sale will be conducted at a fair launch price of $0.01 per token. This means that, if all tokens are sold, the total amount raised from the public sale will be $5 million.
• The capital raised will be held in the Reddit Data Model DAO treasury, and be applied to beneficial activities such as:

• Creating additional liquidity
• Community building
• Commercialization efforts
• Additional data purchasing

Ora has successfully led the $OLM IMO, where all 500 million tokens were sold for 150 ETH (approximately $0.5 million USD) in just 5 minutes.

Allocation of Remaining Tokens

• $RDAT Treasury: 30% of the total supply will be allocated to the Reddit Data DAO treasury.

• The $RDMLtokens held by the rDataDAO community can be used as they wish, (e.g., sale for capital, distribution, or trading and burning).

• Tokenization Partner (ORA): 25% of the total supply will be allocated for commercialization efforts.
• Initial Model Development (Vana or Common.xyz): 15% of the total supply will be dedicated to the initial development of the AI model.
• Network Fees (Vana): 10% of the total supply will be reserved for covering network fees.
• rDataDAO Community Early Access Rights: 10% of the total supply will be set aside for early access rights.

• The top 100 holders of $RDAT will have the rights to early access, allowing them to purchase $RDM tokens before the public sale. A snapshot of the top 100 holders will be taken one week prior to the IMO sale. We’ll hype this up so that $RDAT is pumped.
• This incentivizes $RDAT holders that are bullish on an AI model trained on Reddit data by guaranteeing them a share of the tokens.
• Any tokens not sold during the early access phase will be added to the public sale
• Funds raised by Early Access will be used to seed liquidity at Public Launch.
