General Information

Racers Summit is a solo competition organized in Scheveningen, The Netherlands. It is a 64 player tournament played in a double-elimination format. The mappack will consist of 5 advanced competitive mixed tracks.

Registration is done by buying a ticket on https://www.gammax.nl/events/trackmania-racers-summit-29-30-juli-2023/

The 1500 euros that will be distributed in the following way :

1st : €525,- + Trophy

2nd : €375,-

3rd : €225,-

4th : €150,-

5th/6th : €112,50

Seeding

The seeding consists of playing all maps in time attack mode on day 1(see Schedule). Combined time decides seeding.

Mode : Time Attack

Time limit : 10 minutes

Mappack : Racers summit mappack (5 maps)

Match settings

Matches will take place in the Racers Summit competition located in the Racers Summit club.

Mode : cup mode

Point limit : 120, 140 for grand final

Points repartition: 10,6,4,3

Rounds per map: 4

Warmup: 1 round

Finish timeout : 15 seconds

Nr of Winners: 2, 3 for grand final

Maporder: Based on pick phase

Pick phase

Every match will start with a pick phase. During this phase each player will pick a map.

Pickorder will be decided based on seeding for round 1. Highest seed will pick first.

In the following rounds the previous match results will decide the pickorder.

FAQ

Do I need to buy a ticket to spectate the tournament?

No, Entrance to the Gammax Center is free so you don't need to buy a ticket to spectate. It will be announced if this is changed for the event.

Is this a duo tournament?

No, this event is a single player tournament with a double-elimination bracket.

Do I get a confirmation e-mail after buying a ticket?

No, After buying a ticket you will get an on-screen confirmation. That is the only confirmation you need to attend the Racers Summit.

Is open planet allowed during this tournament?

Openplanet is not allowed during the tournament. It is also not installed on computers at Gammax. The same goes for custom skids.

Do I have to bring my own PC?

No, the event is in an esports center and the ticket price also includes the rental of a high-end PC for the day.

Which peripherals (keyboard, controller and wheel) can you connect?

If you can connect your controller/KB/wheel to a standard computer without special software, you can do so during the event anyway. Special software can be installed after consultation with an employee. There are also peripherals available at the location.
