Keep Flu Out of School

Central District Health has partnered with the Boise School District and is offering free flu shots at school on November 7th.  If you would like your child to receive a flu shot please look for the information packet that will be coming home.  Fill out the permission form and return to school.  Let’s keep our kids healthy this winter!

Kiwanis Boys Choir

Fourteen 4th, 5th and 6th grade boys from Trail Wind recently tried out for and made the Kiwanis Boys Choir.  Trail Wind had more students than any other school get into the program.  Way to represent!

Red Apple Award Winner

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Thornsberry who was recently honored at the September School Board meeting with the Red Apple Award for Outstanding Service in her field. This award is given once a month to a deserving teacher across the entire school district.  Thank you for all you do for our students and staff at Trail Wind!

Trail Wind’s Test Scores

Results from the spring ISAT assessment have recently been released.  As determined by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act formerly known as No Child Left Behind, Trail Wind students were Top Performers in English Language Arts and Goal Makers in English Language Arts and Math.  Way to go Teachers and Students!!
