Front-End Developer (Volunteer)

Job Description

• Collaboration on Wordpress design/development projects with MCYC Operations team, MCYC admins, and volunteers.
• Conducts Wordpress design/development research and performs discovery analyses for new projects.
• Updates the massacramento.org website for all events and new programs
• Designs responsive, mobile-first Wordpress concepts based on strategy.
• Performs maintenance and support for Wordpress website for MAS Sacramento.
• Implements and assess SEO best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 + year experience with WordPress preferred.
• Experience with responsive design/dev practices for mobile and desktop.
• Front-end Development experience (HTML5, CSS, Javascript).
• Confident, energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and taking initiative is a must.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Can work independently, irregular hours.
• 16 years old and above.
