Women empowerment initiative.

What percentage of students stay on campus during the weekends?

Majority of students are out of state students, so a large percentage are taking part in club activities, getting to know Burlington, and doing academic studies.

New initiatives on campus and/or institutional goals?

Diversity & Inclusion, Women & Gender Center.

What is something you might find at the school that may not exist at any other school?

Upside Down Curriculum - getting started right in the major.

We’re in New England!

We are located in Burlington, VT!

3 hours away from Boston, MA

1 hour flight to NYC

What is the approximate distance from Westborough, driving and/or flying?

3.5 hours driving, under 1 hour flying.

What are your most popular majors?

Game Programs, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Computer Science.

Social Work, Data Analytics, Law

Will applying “undecided” for a major affect a student’s chances for acceptance?

No. Student will need to declare a division though.

Is there a statistical advantage to applying early decision or early action?

Higher acceptance rate for early decision.

If interviews are required or recommended, where and by whom are they conducted?

Interviews are recommended. They can be conducted in person by the regional counselor, via skype with counselor or interns, and an open house/tour by any admissions staff member.

Are students automatically considered for merit scholarships with the application to the school?

90% of our incoming students have received scholarships from Champlain.
