DMT 2021 - Terms & Conditions

1. PROMOTER

The Promoter of the competition is S2B Group (‘Promoter’).

2. COMPETITION PERIOD

2.1 The competition will begin at 00:01 on October 25, 2021 and end at 23:59 on January 1, 2022 (the ‘Competition Period’). Note that we also reserve the right to change competition dates as required.

2.2 Any entries received after 23:59 on January 1, 2022 will not be considered, as winners will need to be vetted.

2.3 The winner will be notified by email on 7 January 2022.

3. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THE COMPETITION

3.1 A maximum of 1 (One) entry is allowed per business.

3.2 To enter the competition participants must be:

3.2.1 21 years and older

3.2.2 are in possession of a valid identity document, passport or document of proof of South African residency.

3.2.3 be a duly mandated and authorised representative of the small business; and the business must have been in operation for a period of at least 6 (Six) months prior to entry being submitted (required to complete a company profile summary using the entry form provided);

3.3 The following persons, although meeting the criteria above, are not permitted to enter the competition:

3.3.1 the directors or members or employees of the Promoter or their business partners

3.3.2 immediate family members (spouse or life partner, parents, siblings and children, including adopted persons listed in this group but not half- or step-relations) of the Promoter or their business partners

3.3.3 the Promoter’s agents, consultants or marketing service providers.

4. HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION

To enter, participants are required to complete and submit the entry form. This is subject thereto that the participant complies with the entry criteria as listed below.

ENTRY CRITERIA

4.1 A participant must:

4.1.1 complete the entry form in its entirety and submit it;

4.1.2 accept and comply with these terms and conditions;

4.1.3 like, follow and share the S2B Group Facebook and/or LinkedIn.

4.1.4 A winner must be willing to participate in the media and advertising campaigns that endorse the Promoter and the winner’s business at no fee.

5. SELECTION OF WINNERS

One winner will be selected by the Promoter. The entrants will be vetted by the internal marketing team and the winner will be announced in the online publications and social media platforms on 7 January 2022. Participants must enter their correct/legible contact details. If a winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner in terms of these rules.

6. THE PRIZE

6.1 The prize for the Winner include a complete Digital Transformation to the value of R50 000 for the winner’s business that includes:

6.1.1. Standard Corporate Brand Identity Guide:

including company logo variations,

email signature,

business card design,

social media branded graphic designs

6.1.2. Business Website

3-5 Pages

including basic hosting

6.1.3. Social Media Business Pages (Facebook + LinkedIn)

6.1.4. A Digital Marketing Strategy Overview

Created according to the winner’s business, aimed at creating brand awareness, lead generation, along with an overview of the winner’s competitors and insights into their target markets.

6.1.5. Professional Business Photography Photoshoot

60 Minute Photo-shoot of the business services, products while the business is in operation to use for marketing purposes.

6.1.6. Branded Marketing Video

60-90 second branded video of the company to use for Video Content Marketing.

6.2 Potential winners will be selected following a light screening to ensure these terms and conditions are met.

6.3 The Promoter’s decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the competition and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.4 The Final winner qualifies to receive ownership of the prizes only once all his/her details have been verified and confirmed, including compliance with these terms and conditions and satisfying the qualifying criteria set by the Promoter.

6.5 The prizes are not transferable.

6.6 The prizes will under no circumstances be provided to a third party and will be provided directly to the verified winner only.

6.7 The Promoter will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any part of the prizes resulting from acts beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter. Such acts include, without limitation, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, civil disorder, rebellions or revolutions in any country, epidemics, acts of terrorism, vandalism or sabotage, governmental regulations                                                              Imposed after the fact, communication line failures, power and telecommunications failures, earthquakes, fire, floods or other   disasters(‘Force Majeure Event’).

6.8 The Promoter will notify the final winners as soon as reasonably possible if the prizes are affected by a Force Majeure Event.

 7. GENERAL

7.1 All information relating to this competition and published on any promotional material forms part of the terms and conditions. The terms and conditions will also be hosted on the S2BGroup website through the competition banner and a copy can be emailed to  an interested party on request.

7.2 The Promoter, its associated companies, its agents, contractors and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from participation in the competition or for any loss or damage, however arising.

7.3 By entering this competition all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
