Minion Trigger Animations Will Be Sped Up Everywhere

“We're speeding up minion triggers across the whole game ("Whenever"/"After", Poisonous, Lifesteal, etc. etc.) in an upcoming patch to better match the cadence of Battlegrounds (they'll resolve in 0.2s (down from 0.8s) except for the special cases we flag for 0s). This is done and checked in, just hasn't gone live yet because it requires a full patch.

I'm pretty hyped about this, mainly because a lot of people have wanted things like this and that I think/hope is going to be a really really nice change to the game. But also because (as your title says) Battlegrounds paved the way for this change, and it's cool seeing a new game mode have these positive ripple effects across the rest of the game.:)

Not the last change we're looking to make in this vein by a long shot, but that's the upcoming, completed one.”

Battlecry: Give your Murlocs Divine Shield

• Here’s hoping for Murloc Dragon Pally in the next Standard Year because it’s not really working right now.
• Murloc Paladin is doing okay, but definitely falling from it’s former Aggro glory against modern Face Hunter.

3 Priest - Aeon Reaver

6 Mana 4/4 Common Priest Dragon

Battlecry: Deal damage to a minion equal to its Attack. 

• The Attack of the minion Aeon Reaver is targeting.

• Lightbomb Effect.

• These types of effects are historically pretty strong. There’s not a guaranteed amount of damage here like similar cards. But probably not a huge deal.

4 Rogue - Waxmancy

2 Mana Common Rogue Spell

Discover a Battlecry minion. Reduce its Cost by (2).

• Primordial Glyph-y
• Reminder: Discover Minion is no longer weighted towards Class-specific.

• So this is a massive pool of possibilities.

• Discovering a Mage spell in Mage is more consistent than Discovering from the entire minion pool in Rogue.

5 Warrior - Risky Skipper

1 Mana 1/3 Rare Warrior Minion

After you play a minion, deal 1 damage to all minions.

• Supposed to be a Pirate. Currently bugged. Will be fixed soon. -via Celestalon
• Great stats. Contests the early board.
• Warrior synergy-enabler
• Summons Boom Bots off the new Bomb Wrangler (3 M 2/3 summon Boom Bot whenever this minion takes damage).

6 Neutral - Boompistol Bully

5 Mana 5/5 Epic Neutral Minion

Battlecry: Enemy Battlecry cards cost (5) more next turn.

• You look different Loatheb
• Have run into it against Highlander Hunters already.

• HSreplay showing Highlander Mage, Galakrond Rogues (Highlander & non) slotting this in.

• Lots of Battlecries right now.

• Including Galakrond.
• Leeroy, Faceless Corruptors, Lifedrinkers, Dragons
• What are you hitting on ladder right now?

Do you think that sometime before the next expansion we will have dragons as tribal minions in battlegrounds? Lots of the battlecry buff minions have dragons as one of the target tribes, but would adding another 6-8 minions mess the balance by diluting the pool for every tribal type? Would they have to rest one of the other tribes as well?
